AZ Regional Director participates in ALRE SB1070 forum

Arizona Regional Director Bill Straus participated in a forum on SB 1070 called by ALRE, the Arizona Latino Research Enterprise. ALRE is an organization of Latino professionals---doctors, lawyers, professors, etc.--- whose mission is to show the professional face of the Latino community rather than the blue collar one depicted most often.

This meeting brought together a group of community leaders on a consensual wavelength in its collective opposition to SB 1070. ADL was singled out by several of the presenters, most notably County Attorney Rick Romley, as being a leader among the non-Latino community organizations in speaking out against the new law.
