ADL’s Educational Initiative, Becoming An Ally

ADL’s educational initiative, Becoming an Ally: Responding to Name-Calling and Bullying is based in the premise that the cycle of name-calling and bullying behaviors is best interrupted by motivated allies. During this interactive workshop, students and educators explore the range of behaviors associated with being an ally, develop and practice skills to respond to name-calling and bullying and ultimately take important steps toward positively changing the climate of their schools.

The Agnon School, in Beachwood, Ohio, has demonstrated a commitment to helping their students stand up against hate and prejudice and become allies to their peers by holding a workshop on October 3rd for 45 fifth graders.
