ADL Assists the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Ohio in a Discussion about Bullying

The Ohio/Kentucky/Allegheny Regional Office has been asked to participate in “Bullying” – A Town Hall Meeting, sponsored by Steven M. Dettelbach, United States Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio and Catherine Criswell, director of the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights in Cleveland.

The town hall meeting, designed specifically for students, will discuss the social, legal and psychological impacts of bullying and harassment and will feature a panel of students who have endured and overcome bullying. ADL’s Associate Project Director will participate in the panel discussion and share ways educators, students and parents can effectively address the common problem of bullying and cyberbullying.

This interactive session, which will be viewed by students in schools throughout Ohio, will be accessible to the community on the web at: www.wviz.org/distance on October 20th from 1-2pm.
