ADL participates in the US Attorney’s office for the Northern District Town Hall Meeting on Bullying

Date: October 20, 2011

On October 20th ADL was invited to participate in “Bullying” – A Town Hall Meeting sponsored by the US Attorney’s office for the Northern District. One hundred and fifty students packed the seats of WVIZ’s ideastream studio and the hour long panel and discussion was aired via webcast to thousands more across the state. The panel included four students: three who shared stories of being bullied at school and one student from Solon High School who works to combat bullying by helping students respond appropriately. Jill Rembrandt, ADL’s Associate Project Director, the panel expert, answered questions from students live in the studio and questions submitted via email and text from all over the state. The webcast, moderated by US Attorney Steve Dettlebach, also contained messages from Sherrod Brown and Glee star Matthew Morrison.
