The Ohio/Kentucky/Allegheny Regional Office Names Martin H. Belsky as Board Chair

The Ohio/Kentucky/Allegheny Regional Office has officially welcomed a new board chair and 15 new regional board members to the ADL community. Martin H. Belsky assumed his position at the Annual Meeting on December 1 which also featured Ken Jacobson, ADL’s Deputy National Director, speaking on ADL’s Perspective on the Ever Changing Situation in the Middle East and honored Neal Shapero for his dedication to promoting just and fair treatment for all during his four-year term as regional board chair.
Belsky is presently Dean and Randolph Baxter Professor of Law at the University of Akron School of Law. He is a long time ADL board member, has served on the ADL National Leadership Council, the D.C. Civil Rights Committee in the 1970’s and as the regional board chair in New York. Active in the community, Belsky is a member of the board of the Akron Jewish Community Board; Chair of the Community Relations Committee; and Vice President and Member, Ohio Jewish Communities.
Also welcomed at the Annual Meeting were 15 new board members: Sheryl Berman, Abby Botnick, Zeda Blau, Ilene Butensky, Jamie Klausner, Becca Kopp, Lee Korland, Diane Nichols, Jamie Price, Todd Resnick, Sandra Schwartz, Dan Singerman, Sam Wainer, Susan Wasserman and Jonah Weinberg.
