Names Can Really Hurt Us

Our signature anti-bias program is an effective model for building respectful high school communities, generating powerful student speakers and changing school environments by its profound effect on those who participate. In a safe and supportive atmosphere, student volunteers are guided into presenting their own experiences with bias in an assembly of their peers.

Participants are then encouraged to share their reactions with the group. Follow-up small group discussions continue the much needed conversation.
