Young Professionals Division

The purpose of ADL's Washington, DC Young Professionals Division (YPD) is to advance the ultimate objectives of the Anti-Defamation League, with particular emphasis on outreach, education and advocacy within the local community.

YPD events include educational programs, civil rights opportunities, and social events, providing opportunities for an insider’s look at ADL's key issues, including: global anti-Semitism, church/state separation, immigration reform, Israel advocacy, law enforcement outreach and education initiatives.

Recent activities and events include: a panel discussion on Proposition 8 with policy and legal experts, a three-part speaker series "Confronting Intolerance Around the World," an insider briefing on Turkey/Israel relations, and a presentation from former skinhead Frank Meeink on his descent into America's Nazi underground and his ultimate triumph over hatred and addiction.
