Dr. Joel Kotek Delivers Presentation on Anti-Semitic Cartoons
Dr. Joël Kotek, author of Cartoons and Extremism: Israel and the Jews in Arab and Western Media, visited the Philadelphia area on November 12 and 13. Kotek addressed audiences at Temple Beth Hillel-Beth El synagogue and Fox Rothschild, LLP. He also held a meeting with Signe Wilkinson, Editorial Cartoonist with the Philadelphia Daily News. In each of these instances, Kotek described the anti-Semitic nature of many of the caricatures and cartoons in the Arab and Muslim world, as well as the western media. |
