Protecting High School Students from Online Threats
Date: April 27, 2009
On April 24, over 100 high school freshman at Mercy Vocational High School in Philadelphia engaged in conversations about cyberbullying with ADL facilitators in a series of mini-workshops. Increasing awareness and discussing ways to be allies to those that are targeted by cyberbullying were key components of these workshops.
Earlier this year, the entire education staff at Mercy Vocational High School participated in a full-day ADL Becoming an Ally anti-bullying and cyberbullying workshop.
