“The People vs Leo Frank” Premieres in Allentown

Allentown, PA will be the site of the Eastern PA/Delaware Region's premiere of "The People vs. Leo Frank," a feature-length documentary by award winning filmmaker, Ben Loeterman.  The film chronicles the murder trial of Jewish Atlanta businessman, Leo Frank, and its aftermath. The case remains one of the most vexing episodes in American judicial history.

A single showing of the film will take place on Sunday, October 18, 2009, at 7:00 PM at the Moyer Miller Forum room on the campus of Muhlenberg College.  A dessert pre-reception will be held at Congregation Keneseth Israel from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM for all those with confirmed reservations. Director, Ben Loeterman, will hold a discussion and question and answer session at 8:30PM, following the screening. 

The event is being sponsored by the Anti Defamation League and the Jewish Federation of the Lehigh Valley, in cooperation with the Institute for Jewish-Christian Understanding of Muhlenberg College.  Tickets are $18.00 per person.
