Become a Community of Respect®

ADL’s Community of Respect® initiative is an innovative communitywide anti-bias project based on ADL's successful No Place for Hate® initiative in schools.

With an increasing number of schools in Florida joining ADL’s No Place for Hate® campaign, participating in ADL’s anti-bullying trainings, signing ADL’s Resolution of Respect, and completing a series of ADL-approved anti-bias activities to demonstrate appreciation for diversity and respect, communities at large are partnering with ADL to support these school efforts.

ADL's Community of Respect® initiative offers cities, businesses, organizations, and houses of worship the opportunity to support their local schools while sponsoring and replicating what Florida students and educators are doing on their school campuses to promote respect and diversity by:

  • adopting a local school to become No Place for Hate®;
  • signing ADL’s Resolution of Respect;
  • and completing at least one ADL anti-bias activity.

ADL was proud to designate the City of Coral Springs as the first Community of Respect® in the State of Florida.  As cities become increasingly diverse, ADL’s Community of Respect® initiative highlights the benefits of diversity, encourages inclusiveness and empowers people to reject prejudice and discrimination.

You, too, can become a Community of Respect® Partner.  Call ADL's Florida Regional Office at 561-988-2916 to request a Community of Respect® Toolkit.
