ADL Sells out Boston Premiere of Leo Frank Documentary

Date: November 5, 2009

Over 300 ADL supporters and community members attended the Boston premiere of the new PBS feature length documentary, The People v. Leo Frank, which featured a Q&A with Writer/Director Ben Loeterman and Producer Laura Longsworth.

ADL was founded in 1913, the same year Leo Frank was convicted of murdering Mary Phagan, a young employee at his Atlanta pencil factory. Frank's lynching in 1915 galvanized both ADL and the Ku Klux Klan.

It was through ADL's campaign to exonerate Frank that he was officially pardoned in 1986.
