Echoes and Reflections Comes to MA

A 3-way partnership with Clark University, ADL National, and ADL New England produced an outstanding Echoes and Reflections Holocaust Education Program for 25 Massachusetts and Vermont high school educators this month week.

The workshop was hosted by Clark's groundbreaking Strassler Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies, named after the University's former Chair of the Board of Trustees, ADL New England Regional Board member, and ADL National Chair David Strassler, who attended the recent program in Worcester MA. The participants were spellbound by live testimony from a local woman who survived the horrors of Auschwitz.

Echoes returned to Massachusetts a week later at the Hatikvah Center in Springfield, where 25 Springfield area educators participated and heard from a US Army Veteran who served in a unit that liberated Buchenwald in 1945.
