Law Enforcement Trainings

The goal of our law enforcement training programs is to raise awareness and impart substantial information about trends in terrorism, extremist group activity, and hate crimes.

In particular, topics covered during the half-day training include both local and national hate crimes, hate symbols and ideology, extremists in prison, offender profiles and typologies, recruiting tactics of extremist groups, extremists’ use of the Internet, and criminal trends in the area.

Of special note, in December 2008 employees of the Massachusetts Probation Service, comprised of 105 probation departments throughout the state, completed ADL's law enforcement training program. During the past two years, approximately 1,000 probation officers from across Massachusetts attending these training sessions by ADL experts.
