The New Jersey Regional office offers programs and services that advance the ADL mission throughout the entire state of New Jersey – from Bergen County to Cape May. ADL implements programs in cooperation with educators, government officials, religious community leaders, law enforcement, and other civil rights organizations.

ADL has had an active presence in New Jersey since 1949 and has played a prominent role in shaping the state’s public policy. ADL was instrumental when New Jersey developed the nation’s first hate crimes statute and it enabled the establishment of state mandated Holocaust education programs and the New Jersey Commission on Holocaust Education.
