ABOUT THIS REGIONAL OFFICE

The Anti-Defamation League's New Mexico office covers the Land of Enchantment from offices in Albuquerque. Established in 1989, ADL-New Mexico is guided by a 30 member board of directors from Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Las Cruces, Los Alamos and Carlsbad.

ADL-New Mexico is dedicated to combating anti-Semitism and all forms of hatred and bigotry through education, legislation, inter-group relations, law enforcement and the media. Noted as one of the premiere civil rights/human relations organization in the state, ADL helped pass New Mexico's hate crimes bill into law and directed an effort to remove a former Nazi doctor linked to grisly crimes at Dachau from the New Mexico Space Museum's International Hall of Fame.

ADL New Mexico's award-winning program, ¡Celébrate!The Jewish Experience in Spanish-Speaking Countries will be heading national in 2012 in 5-10 cities throughout the country.
