Glass Leadership Institute

The Glass Leadership Institute introduces a select group of young professionals (ages 25 to 40) to the important programmatic work of ADL and the full range of issues on its agenda. The program builds a base of leaders who are knowledgeable about the League’s work, are committed to ensuring ADL’s vitality and can effectively advocate on its behalf.
Participants gain access to an insider’s perspective to ADL through dynamic and interactive monthly sessions, September to May, featuring experts on the following topics :
• ADL Overview and History • Education: Combating Hatred, Diversity Training, Anti-Bias Education, Confronting Anti-Semitism • International Affairs: Foreign Policy, Israel & the Middle East, European Jewry • Civil Rights: Church/State Separation, Religious Freedom, Policy, Legislative Advocacy, Faith-based issues • Extremism/Hate Crimes & Bias Incidents: Domestic Terrorism, Hate on the Internet • Holocaust Education & Intergroup Activity • Development • Current Affairs (click here for further information on these topics)
The program is highlighted by the Shana Amy Glass National Leadership Conference in Washington, DC each spring. At the National Leadership Conference, participants hear from and interact with international and domestic experts on top ADL issues, culminating with Congressional visits on Capitol Hill.
