Jewish-Latino Seder
Every year, ADL brings together the Jewish and Latino communities for a Seder. With hundreds of people in attendance, participants are led through the Seder by a rabbi and a priest. The entire evening is conducted in Hebrew, Spanish and English. Members of both communities share the experience together and are entertained by a cantor backed by a church youth band. After the Seder has concluded, participants are invited into the sanctuary to learn a little about Judaism.
A World of Difference
At the heart of our work lies our on-going fight to end discrimination and bigotry. Our A World of Difference education programs help prepare students and teachers to participate in a multi-racial, multi-ethnic world.
The Civil Rights Debate Series
We sponsor an annual civil rights debate series in partnership with Chapman University School of Law. The series focuses on the relevant civil rights issues of the day.
The Glass Leadership Institute
Every year, we receive many applications for our Glass Leadership Institute (GLI). The Institute introduces young adult leaders in our region to the work of ADL.
No Place For Hate
This anti-bigotry campaign sees our regional office partner with schools to combat bigotry and hate on campuses. Working with students and faculty members, ADL staff asks all students to sign a Pledge of Respect and commit to work toward a hate free school.
