Holocaust Education

The Pacific Southwest Region hosts in-depth Holocaust education seminars for educators and community members. Bearing Witness™, presented by ADL and the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, is an educational workshop to provide Catholic school educators tools to teach about anti-Semitism, the history of Jewish-Catholic relations, the Holocaust, and bigotry in contemporary society.

An annual workshop for teachers offers the opportunity to learn about the Holocaust from distinguished scholars, educators, specialists and survivors’ eyewitness accounts. Echoes and Reflections: A Multimedia Curriculum on the Holocaust, is a Holocaust curriculum for middle and high school students developed through a unique partnership between the ADL, the USC Shoah Foundation Institute and Yad Vashem. ADL also provides speakers about the Holocaust for schools.
