A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE ® Institute

Every community can be strengthened by the A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE Institute. The ADL works to reinforce existing coalitions, create new alliances and help establish long-term anti-bias initiatives through:

Wherever you are located, ADL can provide A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE institute programs facilitated by highly qualified, specially trained professionals from diverse backgrounds and geographic areas.

A CLASSROOM OF DIFFERENCE™ - Anti-bias training for pre-k through 12th grade students.

A COMMUNITY OF DIFFERENCE™ - Anti-bias training for social service workers, volunteers and staffs of community organizations, after-school/youth service leaders and providers - as well as civic leaders

A CAMPUS OF DIFFERENCE™ - Anti-bias training for college administrators, faculty members and college students

A WORKPLACE OF DIFFERENCE™ - Anti-bias training for corporations, not-for-profit organizations, community groups, government, law enforcement agencies and small businesses 

ONLINE PROGRAMS

  • Making Diversity Count - An award winning online professional development tool for educators to build respectufl and inclusive classrooms.  The program includes a two-day conference with additional training, an anti-bias study guide, lesson plans and a chance for educators to collaborate and learn from their peers.
  • Curriculum Connections  - A collection of original lesson plans and resources that help K-12 educators integrate multicultural, anti-bias, and social justice themes into their curricula. Each edition is organized around a particular topic or theme, and a new edition is published approximately two times per school year.

PREJUDICE ELIMINATION WORKSHOP - Annual all-day interactive anti-bias program for high school Juniors (offered in the Fall).

Fees: The Institute's programs are provided for in a variety of ways, including fee-for-service, corporate, individual and foundation support.
