Holocaust Awareness & Remembrance/Echoes and Reflections
The Institute for Holocaust Education (IHE), a division of the Plains State office, is an established Omaha resource whose objectives are to teach students, educators and all members of the community the lessons of the Holocaust and help them apply those lessons to their lives and society today.
Teacher materials, an essay contest, a multimedia curriculum, state-standards lessons and lecture programs are available through the IHE. Traveling exhibitions using the lens of the Holocaust are available for viewing in the Pennie Z. Davis Gallery for Holocaust Education.
