ADL Co-presents 9500 Liberty at the San Diego Asian Film Festival
Date: October 27, 2009
On October 27th and 28th, ADL co-presented the film 9500 Liberty at the San Diego Asian Film Festival. This compelling film shows the explosive battle over immigration policy when elected officials in Prince William County, Virginia adopt a law requiring police officers to question anyone they have "probable cause" to suspect is an undocumented immigrant.
At both screenings, the attendees had the opportunity to hear firsthand from filmmaker and Prince William County resident Eric Byler, who talked about his experience making the movie and answered questions from the audience.
