Grosfeld Family National Youth Leadership Mission, Donald R. Mintz Delegation

On November14-17, 2010, the Donald R. Mintz Delegation of ten students from New Orleans area high schools will join nine other delegation from across the country in Washington, D. C. to learn how they can make a difference in their schools and communities in the fight against prejudice and bigotry. The highlight of the conference is a visit to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum where they will learn first hand the consequences of anti-Semitism and hatred allowed to flourish during the period of the Holocaust. These ten students will serve as peer facilitators at the ADL Annual Unity Through Understanding Day Workshop.
