Unity Through Understanding Day Workshop
The annual Unity Through Understanding Day Workshop provides a day of anti-bias training for students and a learning tract for educators. High schools in the greater New Orleans area are asked to select six to eight students to attend the workshop. Students participate in a day or interactive activities to break down stereotypes, develop a common language, discuss the Pyramid of Hate and explore their own biases and prejudices. Students and educators develop an action plan to take back to their schools. This workshop is held in the spring of the academic year. For more information contact the ADL office at 780-5617.
