Mary Lin Gets a "Taste of Miller"

The Anti-Defamation League presented a "Taste of Miller" to 20 four- and five- year olds in the Mary Lin Elementary School Pre-K class on August 29, 2009.  Students participated in a very candid conversation about times when their feelings have been hurt and what they can do or say when that occurs.  Maracas were shaking, cymbals were clanking, and drums were drumming to the "Stand Up Song" -  a Miller Early Childhood Initiative activity that addresses issues of noticing unfairness and taking a stand, sung to the tune of Mary Had a Little Lamb.
