Austin Series of Educator Breakfasts Starts with No Place for Hate® Discussion

Austin ADL's education department began a series of breakfasts for educators for the 2009-2010 school year with an examination of some of the most interesting and successful projects at area No Place for Hate® schools. 

Educators from the Leander Independent School District and Pflugerville Independent School District talked about their No Place for Hate® experiences.   Their session covered the steps involved in their schools receiving the No Place for Hate® designation, along with examples of some of their successful best practices.   More than 40 educators participated in the breakfast, and several of them expressed excitement and anticipation about what they could achieve on their campuses through No Place for Hate®.
