Law Enforcement Agency Resource Network

ADL works closely with law enforcement to monitor extremists and investigate the hate crimes and incidents perpetrated by them. ADL has a web site specifically for law enforcement as part of its Law Enforcement Agency Resource Network (LEARN).There you can find out more about upcoming extremist events, our Hate on Display glossary of extremist tattoos and symbols, recent arrests of extremists, and other matters pertinent to the law enforcement job you do every day.

In addition, ADL offers classes for law enforcement. Currently, we offer a TCLEOSE-certified class along with Holocaust Museum Houston and the Houston Police Department called Law Enforcement in Society: Lessons of the Holocaust. The class is offered once a month, is free, and offers 8 hours of TCLEOSE credit. It examines the role of modern law enforcement in society against the backdrop of local law enforcement during the Holocaust and how the role of law enforcement changed during that pivotal time.

ADL also offers courses in extremists, how they operate, their symbols and tattoos, and a hate crimes class for law enforcement in the Southwest Region.

For more information, call the Southwest office at (713) 627-3490, ext. 134.
